His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, the Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council, inaugurated Madar Media on Wednesday morning. This new initiative serves as the commercial and creative extension of Sharjah Media City (Shams) and focuses on fostering the emirate's media industry through innovative content development.
The launch event was hosted at Shams headquarters, where attendees received an in-depth presentation on Madar Media's vision, future strategies, and the diverse services it aims to provide, targeting the enhancement of media and creative sectors in Sharjah.
During the presentation, officials highlighted that Madar Media intends to boost economic sustainability within the media landscape while generating new prospects for emerging media professionals and creators.
The program is tailored to stimulate innovation, aid in content production, and offer resources that empower media professionals to produce high-quality work across various creative sectors.
His Highness was briefed on several specialized initiatives operating under Madar Media, including the Comedy Club, which provides a platform for comedians and upcoming content creators to produce impactful entertainment while advancing contemporary creative arts within the local media landscape.
Additionally, the event highlighted live demonstrations featuring space-themed photography and promotional projects that underline Madar Media's creative prowess.

The initiative also unveiled Madar AI, leveraging artificial intelligence to craft and produce both visual and audio content.
According to officials, Madar Media aspires to enhance the economic viability of Sharjah's media sector while championing excellence, innovation, and content generation. The initiative is poised to foster a more competitive and sustainable media ecosystem in the emirate.
Madar Media will function through a versatile service model that combines the facilities and offerings developed by Shams over the years, which include state-of-the-art photography studios, recording spaces, digital broadcasting areas, and tailored influencer services to aid local creatives.
The launch event also featured the signing of two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs).
The first agreement was inked between Madar Media, represented by Rashid Abdullah Al Obad, Director General of Sharjah Media City (Shams), and the Maraya platform of the Sharjah Broadcasting and Television Authority (SBA), represented by Mohammed Hassan Khalaf, Director General of SBA.
The second MoU was executed between Madar Media and Nikon Middle East & Africa, represented by Narendra Menon, Managing Director of Nikon Middle East & Africa.
These agreements aim to strengthen collaborative efforts in media content creation, share expertise, facilitate training for media professionals, and support cutting-edge technologies in photography and production, thereby enhancing the quality of creative output in Sharjah.
