Indian beauty and fashion retailer Nykaa has announced an ambitious target to build a beauty and lifestyle business with gross merchandise value exceeding $5 billion by fiscal year 2030. The company revealed the goal during its investor presentation, highlighting confidence in India's growing consumer spending market.
Strong Focus On Beauty And Lifestyle
Nykaa aims to strengthen its position across beauty, personal care, fashion and lifestyle categories. The company believes rising disposable incomes and changing consumer preferences will continue to drive demand for premium and branded products in the coming years.
Revenue Expected To Multiply
According to company projections, revenue is expected to grow between two and three times by FY2030. Management expressed confidence that expanding product offerings and deeper customer engagement will support long-term growth across both online and offline channels.
Betting On Rising Consumer Spending
The retailer is positioning itself to benefit from increasing discretionary spending among Indian consumers. As purchasing power improves and digital commerce expands, Nykaa expects more shoppers to spend on beauty, wellness and lifestyle products.
Profitability Goals Remain Strong
Alongside revenue growth, Nykaa expects profit margins to improve steadily. The company said margins could expand into the low-to-mid teens over the next several years as operational efficiency and scale continue to improve.
Expanding Presence Across India
Nykaa has been investing in retail expansion, technology upgrades and customer experience improvements. The company continues to grow its physical store network while strengthening its digital ecosystem to reach a broader customer base.
Long-Term Confidence In Market Growth
The latest growth targets reflect Nykaa’s confidence in India's rapidly evolving retail and e-commerce landscape. By focusing on beauty, fashion and lifestyle segments, the company hopes to cement its position as one of the country's leading consumer brands by the end of the decade.
