The General Secretariat of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has unequivocally condemned the ongoing assaults targeting the State of Kuwait, labeling them a grave infringement on the nation's sovereignty and security.
In an official communication, the OIC indicated that these acts contravene international law and the United Nations Charter. The organisation cautioned that such actions endanger civilians and pose a considerable threat to regional stability and security.
The OIC General Secretariat underscored that any aggression against Kuwait undermines all efforts aimed at ensuring peace and security in the area. It urged for adherence to international laws and principles that safeguard the sovereignty and territorial integrity of nations.
Expressing its unwavering support for Kuwait, the OIC conveyed complete solidarity with the country and endorsed all initiatives undertaken by Kuwaiti authorities to ensure national security, territorial integrity, and stability.
The organisation also highlighted the necessity of safeguarding civilians and preventing measures that could escalate tensions or lead to further instability in the region.
