Oman Customs Discovers 450 Hidden Electronic Shishas at Al-Wajajah Border

Oman Customs Discovers 450 Hidden Electronic Shishas at Al-Wajajah Border

Post by : Badri Ariffin

Oman Customs has made a notable interception, seizing 450 electronic shishas along with various tobacco derivatives hidden within a vehicle at the Al-Wajajah border crossing.

An official statement from Oman Customs indicates that these items were cleverly concealed within the vehicle's compartments in an apparent effort to circumvent existing border regulations.

Seizure Details: 450 Electronic Shishas Unearthed

During a routine inspection at Al-Wajajah, customs officers uncovered these hidden items. Authorities noted that large amounts of tobacco derivatives accompanied the 450 electronic shishas and their associated accessories.

This proactive discovery has effectively prevented the illegal transportation of the goods across the border, with all items now in the custody of the authorities.

Legal Procedures Initiated by Oman Customs

Oman Customs confirmed, stating: "Officers at Al-Wajajah border were successful in seizing a substantial amount of tobacco derivatives and 450 electronic shishas, which were meticulously hidden within the vehicle to evade regulations. Appropriate legal actions are underway."

The customs authority has finalized all necessary legal protocols following the interception.
