Holidays Cause Philippine Embassy in UAE to Close on June 12 and 15

Holidays Cause Philippine Embassy in UAE to Close on June 12 and 15

Post by : Rameen Ariff

The Philippine Embassy in the UAE is set to close its doors on June 12 and June 15 in celebration of Philippine Independence Day and the Islamic New Year. During this period, all standard consular and administrative functions will be suspended.

Filipinos seeking services such as passport processing, civil registry, or notarial tasks are urged to finalize their requests prior to the holiday dates. The embassy is advising the community to strategize their appointments and avoid last-minute visits to minimize waiting times for essential documents and services.

While the embassy will not be open for regular services, emergency assistance will remain available. Dedicated hotlines for urgent inquiries will continue to operate. Overseas Filipino workers can reach the Assistance-to-Nationals unit through phone, SMS, or WhatsApp for immediate support if necessary.

Additional support services will also remain active via special contact numbers for labor issues, contract confirmations, and urgent consular matters. These resources are designed to ensure that individuals facing critical issues can access help during the holiday period.

The authorities remind the public to note these closure dates and to arrange accordingly. Normal embassy operations are scheduled to recommence following the holidays.
