QNA Chief, Pakistan Envoy Discuss Media Cooperation

HE Director-General of Qatar News Agency (QNA), Ahmed bin Saeed Al Rumaihi, met with HE Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Qatar, Muhammad Aamer, in Doha on Wednesday. The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the field of media and communication.

During the discussions, both sides reviewed the existing relations between Qatar and Pakistan and explored opportunities to expand collaboration between media institutions. The meeting highlighted the importance of information exchange and professional cooperation in strengthening bilateral ties.

Officials noted that media plays an important role in promoting mutual understanding between nations and in highlighting areas of common interest. Both representatives emphasized the value of continued engagement between media organizations.

The talks also reflected the strong diplomatic relations enjoyed by Qatar and Pakistan across various sectors. Media cooperation was identified as an area with significant potential for future development.

Qatar News Agency remains one of the leading official news organizations in the Gulf region and continues to work with international partners to improve news exchange and professional standards.

Pakistan and Qatar have maintained close relations in trade, investment, labor and cultural affairs. Strengthening media collaboration is expected to further enhance communication between the two countries.

The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to explore new avenues of cooperation and support initiatives that contribute to stronger media partnerships and greater public awareness.
