Sharjah: On Wednesday, Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the Ruler of Sharjah and a prominent member of the UAE Supreme Council, led the Eid Al Adha prayer at Sharjah Mosque.

He was accompanied by Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, along with Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi and numerous senior officials and family members.

Notable attendees included Sheikh Dr Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi, who chairs the Sharjah Ruler's Office; Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi, chairman of the Department of Statistics and Community Development; Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, chairman of the Sharjah Districts Affairs Department; Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, chairman of Sharjah Charity International; Sheikh Saud bin Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, director general of the Sharjah Digital Department; and Sheikh Saif bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, assistant Secretary-General of the Arab Parliament for the Child, alongside other senior officials and sheikhs.

During the Eid sermon, Sheikh Dr Abdullah Mansour emphasized the significance of monotheism, genuine faith, and adherence to the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). He noted that Islam champions moderation and balance while rejecting extremism and negligence.

The sermon also stressed the importance of robust family values, illustrating how righteous families are essential for instilling moral and religious principles in children. He encouraged strengthening family ties, fostering tolerance, forgiveness, and social harmony, while steering clear of conflicts and disagreements.

In conclusion, Sheikh Dr Abdullah Mansour prayed for the UAE, beseeching Allah to bless the nation with safety, stability, and prosperity, while safeguarding its leadership, citizens, and residents. He also prayed for the successful completion of Hajj rituals and the safe return of the pilgrims.
