Sharjah Unveils Al Qawasim Digital Heritage Initiative

On Wednesday, Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, unveiled the Al Qawasim application and digital platform. This new initiative is aimed at documenting the lineage and history of the Al Qawasim family through a modern digital interface.

The launch took place at the Dr Sultan Al Qasimi Centre, attended by Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi and Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi.

Emphasizing Kinship and Community

The Ruler of Sharjah underscored the significance of family connections and preserving one’s lineage. He noted that these values are pivotal in nurturing a cohesive and stable community, referencing teachings that highlight the importance of kinship in enriching lives.

His Highness asserted that chronicling family history is essential for fostering strong relationships and enhancing community bonds. This practice not only serves individuals but also contributes positively to societal unity and understanding.
