Thailand DE Ministry Holds Integrity Review Meeting

Thailand’s Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (DE) held the third meeting of the Working Group on Assessing Integrity and Transparency in Government Operations for the fiscal year 2026. The session focused on strengthening governance standards and improving transparency across public institutions.

Senior Officials Attend Key Session

The meeting took place on June 16, 2026, at the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society headquarters in Bangkok. Acting Lieutenant Colonel Thanasit Eiamananachai, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the ministry, chaired the session with the participation of senior officials and representatives from relevant departments.

Focus on Accountability and Good Governance

Participants reviewed progress made under the integrity and transparency assessment framework. Discussions centered on improving accountability mechanisms, ensuring ethical conduct in government operations and promoting public trust in state institutions.

Evaluation Process Discussed

Officials examined current assessment procedures used to evaluate transparency and integrity within government agencies. The meeting also reviewed performance indicators and methods designed to measure compliance with governance standards.

Enhancing Public Sector Efficiency

The ministry emphasized that integrity and transparency remain essential components of effective public administration. Strengthening these principles is expected to improve service delivery, increase efficiency and support Thailand’s broader digital governance goals.

Collaboration Among Government Agencies

The working group highlighted the importance of cooperation between ministries and public institutions. Officials discussed ways to share best practices and develop coordinated approaches to strengthen governance across the government sector.

Commitment to Transparent Governance

The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of the ministry’s commitment to promoting transparency, accountability and ethical practices. Authorities stated that continued monitoring and evaluation would help enhance public confidence and support sustainable institutional development.
