Fatal Bus Incident in South Sinai

A tragic bus accident occurred Wednesday morning when a passenger bus flipped on the road linking the popular Red Sea resorts of Dahab and Nuweiba, resulting in the deaths of at least 16 individuals and injuries to 28 others, as confirmed by Egypt's Ministry of Health.

The crash took place near the Al-Saada region while heading towards Nuweiba. Emergency teams promptly arrived at the site, providing first aid and arranging for the evacuation of injured passengers to local hospitals.

Upon notification, Egypt's Ministry of Health activated its central operations room, deploying 20 ambulances to address the needs of the injured and facilitate their transport to medical facilities.
