In a recent phone conversation, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, engaged with Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah to review the current state of affairs in the region.
Both leaders unequivocally condemned the missile and drone attacks carried out by Iranian forces targeting Kuwait. Emphasizing the need to safeguard regional security and stability, they discussed the rising tensions in the area.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah reaffirmed the UAE’s unwavering support for Kuwait, expressing solidarity in all efforts to protect the nation’s safety, stability, and the welfare of its citizens.
The Minister also pointed out that the security of the UAE is intrinsically linked to that of Kuwait and all GCC nations, underscoring the importance of a united front against regional threats.
This discussion reflects the strong relationship between the UAE and Kuwait, showcasing their mutual dedication to ensuring peace and security within the Gulf region.
