The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has expressed its approval of the recent trilateral framework agreement between Lebanon and Israel, facilitated under the auspices of the United States. The UAE has also praised the diplomatic initiatives of US President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio in this significant endeavor.

In an official statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) indicated that this agreement is a promising advancement towards enhancing stability in the region. The ministry underscored its belief that this development could foster an environment conducive to peace and diminish ongoing tensions.

The Ministry emphasized the critical need for sustained and effective international collaboration to avert further escalation of the situation. It pointed out the importance of mitigating the humanitarian and security repercussions of persisting regional conflicts on disadvantaged communities.

The UAE reiterated its unwavering support for Lebanon during these pivotal times, emphasizing its backing for the country's efforts to maintain state control over weapons and dismantle terrorist networks. These steps, as noted by the Ministry, are crucial for boosting national security and ensuring the long-term stability of Lebanon.

Moreover, the statement reaffirmed the UAE's steadfast commitment to supporting Lebanon's unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity while also advocating for the Lebanese populace in their pursuit of security, stability, development, and prosperity.
