Chilling CCTV captures moment UPS cargo plane loses engine seconds before fiery crash that killed 15

Post by : Shakul

Newly released footage from the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has revealed the final moments before UPS Airlines Flight 2976 crashed near Louisville, Kentucky, in November 2025. The dramatic video has renewed attention on the deadly cargo aircraft accident that claimed the lives of crew members and several people on the ground.

According to investigators, the Boeing cargo aircraft experienced a catastrophic mechanical failure shortly after takeoff. Preliminary findings suggest the aircraft’s left engine and pylon separated from the wing during the early stage of flight, leaving the pilots struggling to maintain control of the plane.

The newly released footage reportedly captures the aircraft losing stability moments before the crash. Emergency responders rushed to the scene after the plane went down near a populated area outside Louisville, causing heavy damage and a large fire upon impact.

The NTSB said investigators are closely examining possible fatigue cracks and structural weaknesses connected to the engine mounting system. Officials believe long-term stress on critical aircraft components may have contributed to the separation of the engine assembly during takeoff.

Aviation experts noted that engine and pylon separation incidents are extremely rare and are treated as serious structural failures in the aviation industry. Investigators are now reviewing maintenance records, manufacturing data, and inspection procedures linked to the aircraft.

The crash shocked the aviation sector and raised concerns about aircraft safety standards, especially regarding aging cargo fleets and structural monitoring systems. Families of the victims continue to await the final investigation report that will determine the exact cause of the tragedy.

Authorities stated that the investigation remains ongoing and additional technical analysis will be conducted before a final conclusion is released. The NTSB is expected to issue further recommendations aimed at improving aircraft inspection procedures and preventing similar accidents in the future.
