China has successfully launched the Lijian-1 Y14 carrier rocket, sending eight satellites into their planned orbit from the Dongfeng Commercial Space Innovation Pilot Zone in northwest China. The rocket lifted off at 11:44 a.m. Beijing Time on June 15, 2026, marking another significant achievement for the country's rapidly expanding commercial space sector.
The mission carried a range of satellites, including the Jixing Gaofen 07C04 satellite. Chinese space authorities confirmed that all payloads were successfully deployed into their designated orbits, completing the mission according to plan. The launch further strengthens China's satellite infrastructure for communication, observation, and scientific applications.
The successful flight highlights the growing capabilities of China's commercial launch industry. The Lijian-1 rocket series has become an important part of the country's efforts to support frequent and cost-effective satellite launches while expanding its presence in the global space market.
China continues to invest heavily in advanced space technologies, satellite networks, and launch systems. The success of the Lijian-1 Y14 mission is expected to support future commercial and scientific projects as the country works toward strengthening its position as a major global space power.
