Severe flooding has been reported in Donghai County after intense rainfall battered large parts of eastern China, causing major disruption to roads, transportation, and daily life. Videos shared widely on social media showed streets submerged under muddy floodwater while vehicles struggled to move through heavily flooded areas.

The downpour reportedly continued for several hours, leading to water accumulation across major roads and residential zones. Traffic movement slowed dramatically as many streets became impassable, with some vehicles partially submerged while attempting to cross flooded sections of roadway.

Eyewitness footage circulating online captured scenes of severe urban flooding, including stranded motorists, overflowing drainage systems, and long traffic jams caused by rapidly rising water levels. Emergency responders were reportedly deployed in affected areas to assist residents and monitor flood-prone zones.

Chinese weather authorities issued multiple rainstorm and flood alerts across several provinces as the severe weather system continued moving through parts of eastern and central China.
