Southern China Floods Kill 12 — Woman Miraculously Survives!

Post by : Shakul

Heavy rainfall and severe thunderstorms caused widespread destruction across southern and central parts of China, leading to deadly floods, waterlogging and major disruption to daily life. Authorities confirmed that at least 12 people lost their lives as relentless rain battered several cities and towns.

Floodwaters submerged roads, residential areas and marketplaces after drainage systems failed to cope with the intense downpour. Several videos circulating online showed vehicles stranded in deep water while rescue teams worked to evacuate residents trapped in flooded neighbourhoods.

The extreme weather also disrupted schools, businesses and public services across multiple regions. Electricity supply was affected in several areas, while transport operations including buses and rail services faced delays and cancellations due to dangerous conditions.

One dramatic incident captured during the flooding showed a woman narrowly escaping death after being caught in fast-moving floodwaters. The shocking footage quickly spread on social media, highlighting the dangerous impact of the ongoing storms.

Emergency response teams have been deployed across affected provinces to carry out rescue operations and restore essential services. Local authorities urged residents to remain indoors, avoid flooded streets and closely follow weather advisories as rainfall is expected to continue in some regions.

The devastating floods once again raised concerns about extreme weather events and urban flooding challenges in densely populated areas. Experts warn that stronger storms and unusually heavy rainfall are placing increasing pressure on infrastructure systems across major cities.
