On Friday, the World Surf League (WSL) Longboard Tour made an exciting comeback to Surf Abu Dhabi, kicking off three days of elite surfing action. Set against the stunning backdrop of Hudayriyat Island, this event welcomed 45 of the globe’s most exceptional longboard surfers, celebrated for their technical prowess and stylish approaches. Athletes showcased their skills in a competition that highlighted speed, balance, and finesse.

Coinciding with the first anniversary of Surf Abu Dhabi, the world-class wave pool has rapidly become a key location for surfing enthusiasts in the region. This venue allows surfers to ride perfect waves throughout the year, creating consistent conditions that showcase their technical skills. The anniversary serves as a reminder of Surf Abu Dhabi's commitment to advancing surfing and water sports in the UAE.

Surfers embraced the advanced wave pool technology over the three-day event, which was meticulously designed to provide optimal surfing conditions.
