K-pop superstars BTS have officially announced a massive 79-date world tour, marking their highly anticipated return to the global stage after a four-year break from live performances. The announcement has sparked excitement among fans worldwide, as it signals the group’s full reunion and a new chapter in their career.
The tour will kick off with three back-to-back shows at South Korea’s Goyang Stadium starting on April 9, 2026. From there, BTS will travel across Asia, Europe, and North America, covering some of the world’s biggest music markets. Major cities confirmed on the tour schedule include London, Tokyo, Munich, Sydney, and Los Angeles, underlining the scale and ambition of the comeback. With nearly 80 shows planned, it is expected to be one of the largest and most talked-about tours of the year.
This tour will also mark BTS’s first performances outside South Korea and the United States since 2019. Their previous world tour was a historic success, breaking records for a K-pop act and earning approximately $246 million globally. During that run, BTS made history by becoming the first Korean group to headline London’s iconic Wembley Stadium, cementing their status as global superstars.
The upcoming concerts will feature a 360-degree, in-the-round stage design, allowing fans to view the band from all sides. This setup will also help increase seating capacity at venues, giving more fans the chance to attend. In the UK, BTS are scheduled to perform two nights at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on July 6 and 7, while the European leg will also include stops in Paris, Madrid, Brussels, and Munich.
The band has hinted that additional dates will be announced later for Japan, the Middle East, and other regions in 2027. Tickets for fan members will go on sale from January 22, with general sales opening two days later. Industry estimates suggest the tour could generate over $1 billion in revenue through concerts, merchandise, and music sales, highlighting BTS’s unmatched global appeal.
