Emirates, known as the leading international airline, has revealed a bold new livery on its Airbus A380 to commemorate its sponsorship of the four Grand Slam tennis tournaments.
Proudly backing the Australian Open, Roland-Garros, Wimbledon, and the US Open, Emirates stands apart as one of the rare brands to be associated with every major tennis event.
The vibrant livery showcases artwork inspired by tennis, displaying the logos of each Grand Slam within a tennis ball motif. The colors represent each tournament's distinct character: the summer blue of the Australian Open, the earthy red of Roland-Garros, Wimbledon’s classic green and purple, and the striking yellow and blue of the US Open.
The Grand Slam themed A380 will service various international routes, including trips to Houston and São Paulo, giving travelers the chance to admire this unique design. The livery is a tribute to tennis's core values, showcasing sportsmanship, discipline, and resilience.
This aircraft will remain with the Emirates fleet for the foreseeable future. Its inaugural flight featuring the new design took off for Melbourne, Australia, marking the commencement of the 2026 Australian Open—the first Grand Slam of the year.
Emirates’ Dedication to Global Sports
Emirates continues to enhance its engagement with sports aficionados through an expansive sponsorship roster. In the realm of tennis, the airline also backs significant ATP and WTA events, alongside all four Grand Slams.
Beyond tennis, Emirates plays a vital role in sponsoring numerous prestigious international sports events and teams in disciplines such as horse racing, golf, cricket, sailing, basketball, cycling, and football. Their “Fly Better” branding is seen on the kits of top football teams, including Arsenal FC, Real Madrid CF, AC Milan, Benfica, and Olympique Lyonnais. Additionally, Emirates stands as the title sponsor for The FA Cup and supports various sports initiatives within the UAE.
