The sequel to the beloved 2012 film Cocktail is generating buzz with its vibrant cast: Kriti Sanon, Shahid Kapoor, and Rashmika Mandanna.

The trio has just finished filming in Italy, and reports indicate they had an enjoyable experience on set.

Rashmika Mandanna expressed her enthusiasm about her collaboration with Kriti and Shahid, stating, “I adore both Kriti and Shahid. It feels like we’re the perfect crew together. Homi sir (Homi Adajania), our director, makes it even more delightful. Working with them is such a joy. I can’t wait to return to Delhi for more filming.”

She added that she had a fantastic time on the set and hopes audiences can feel that same excitement through the film. “Every moment in a scene with Kriti or Shahid brings me joy. I truly hope that when this movie hits theaters, you’ll sense that enjoyment and embrace it too,” she smiled brightly.

Directed by Homi Adajania, Cocktail 2 aims to capture the essence of its predecessor from 2012, which featured Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty. The original was praised for its modern depiction of love, camaraderie, and relationships.

On another note, Rashmika is currently enjoying the success of her latest film, Thamma. Co-starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Thamma has notably exceeded the Rs 50 crore benchmark at the box office. Produced by Maddock Films, it is the fifth entry in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe, following titles like Stree, Roohi, Bhediya, and Munjya.

Thamma revolves around Ayushmann's character, who transforms into a vampire and falls for Rashmika's character, creating a thrilling yet comedic “bloody love story” filled with surprises.

With the buzz surrounding Cocktail 2 and Rashmika's recent successes, audiences are eagerly anticipating her captivating presence alongside Kriti and Shahid on the big screen.
