Explore Switzerland Like Never Before Indian Creators’ Travel Adventures

Explore Switzerland Like Never Before Indian Creators’ Travel Adventures

Post by : Rameen Ariff

Switzerland Tourism has introduced an exciting new travel series on YouTube called “Ticket to Switzerland”, designed to showcase the country’s beauty, culture, and diverse experiences to Indian travelers. The series aims to bring the charm of Switzerland closer to Indian audiences through the lens of popular Indian creators, highlighting that traveling to Switzerland can be fun, accessible, and suitable for every kind of traveler.

The show features four teams of Indian creators, each exploring the country in a unique way. One team focuses on family bonding, another on couple adventures, while the third showcases solo travel, and the fourth emphasizes friendship challenges. By presenting travel in these relatable formats, viewers can imagine themselves taking part in similar experiences.

Exploring Iconic Locations

Throughout the series, the teams travel to Switzerland’s most famous cities and scenic spots, including Zurich, Geneva, Interlaken, Laax, Engelberg, Mürren, and Schilthorn. Each location brings a mix of adventure, relaxation, and cultural experiences. The series demonstrates how the Swiss Travel System – a well-connected network of trains, buses, and cable cars – allows travelers to move easily and enjoy breathtaking landscapes along the way.

Participants take part in fun challenges, sample local Swiss food, explore mountain peaks, and enjoy adventure sports like hiking, zip-lining, and gondola rides. At the same time, they interact with local communities, giving viewers a glimpse of Switzerland’s culture and lifestyle beyond the usual tourist spots.

The Teams and Their Stories

The family adventure team features veteran actor Archana Puran Singh and her husband Parmeet Sethi exploring Switzerland with their sons, Ayushmaan and Aaryamann. Their episodes highlight bonding, shared experiences, and family fun, showing that traveling together can create lasting memories.

The couples’ team, including actor Barkha Singh and creators Ashi Khanna and Shivesh Bhatia, showcases romantic getaways and shared adventures, inspiring couples to explore together.

The friendship and solo travel team, featuring influencers Nagma Mirajkar and Awez Darbar, focuses on independent discovery and group fun, proving that Switzerland offers opportunities for excitement, challenges, and self-discovery whether traveling alone or with friends.

Making Travel Relatable

One of the main strengths of the series is how it makes Switzerland relatable for Indian viewers. Families, couples, and solo travelers can see themselves in the experiences shown on screen. Each episode balances adventure with relaxation, such as serene train rides, lakeside walks, and mountain explorations, making the country approachable and inspiring viewers to plan their trips.

Christian Schoch, Director – India of Switzerland Tourism, highlighted that using YouTube as a platform allows travelers to see the country in a personal and authentic way. Unlike traditional ads, the series tells a story through real experiences, challenges, and interactions, encouraging viewers to imagine themselves traveling in Switzerland.

Education Through Entertainment

Apart from entertainment, the series also educates viewers about Switzerland’s tourism and transport infrastructure. Using trains, gondolas, and cable cars, the show demonstrates how easy it is to move across the country, even in remote locations. The team’s journeys show that Switzerland is both beautiful and convenient, a combination that makes it ideal for Indian travelers.

Promoting Tourism and Culture

Ticket to Switzerland is also part of a larger effort to promote tourism and culture. The series emphasizes that travel is not just about visiting landmarks; it’s about creating memorable experiences, forming connections, and exploring new cultures. Through creative storytelling, interactive challenges, and a diverse group of creators, the series inspires viewers to experience Switzerland in their own unique way.

As episodes of Ticket to Switzerland continue to release on YouTube, viewers can expect a mix of adventure, fun, learning, and inspiration, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Swiss Alps, serene lakes, and vibrant cities. By showing Switzerland through the eyes of relatable Indian creators, the series makes travel aspirational yet attainable, encouraging audiences to explore the country and enjoy its landscapes, food, culture, and adventures.

Switzerland, with its majestic mountains, iconic cities, and rich culture, now welcomes Indian travelers to experience its beauty like never before – all thanks to the engaging storytelling of Ticket to Switzerland.
