In a tragic event that unfolded early Friday in Andhra Pradesh's Kurnool district, a private bus was engulfed in flames near Chinnatekur village, resulting in at least 20 fatalities and numerous injuries. The incident occurred around 3 am as a Kaveri Travels bus traveled from Hyderabad to Bengaluru and collided with a motorcycle on the highway. Reports indicate that the motorcycle became lodged beneath the bus, impacting the fuel tank and causing a catastrophic explosion. The bus was carrying 41 passengers, of whom 21 survived, including two drivers who managed to escape.
