Malaysia's Ministry of Health (MOH) has confirmed that its official website was hacked after an unauthorized message appeared on the government portal. Following the cyberattack, the website was taken offline while technical teams began recovery efforts and launched an investigation into the incident.
Investigation and Restoration in Progress
The ministry said a detailed investigation is underway to determine how the security breach occurred. Officials are working with relevant government agencies to restore the website safely while strengthening cybersecurity measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
Public Asked to Avoid the Website
Authorities have advised Malaysians not to access the official MOH website until further notice. The ministry also warned people not to click suspicious links or download any files from the affected website while the investigation continues.
