The Heat set a record by allowing the most points for a Memphis opponent in regulation, achieving a resounding 146-114 win. They scored 86 points in the first half on 57.7% shooting and enjoyed a commanding 39-point lead at halftime. Nikola Jokic supported with 20 points and six rebounds, while Kel’el Ware added 19 points with nine boards. Jaime Jaquez Jr. contributed 17 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists. Despite Jaren Jackson Jr. scoring 19, Memphis struggled with Ja Morant managing just 12 points on 4-of-16 shooting after the break.
In another matchup, the Trail Blazers triumphed over the Golden State Warriors 139-119, with Deni Avdija leading the way with 26 points, six assists, and five rebounds. Jerami Grant pitched in 22 points, and Toumani Camara scored 19 points, alongside seven rebounds and three steals. In the absence of Chauncey Billups, interim coach Tiago Splitter directed the team. For the Warriors, Stephen Curry netted 35 points, including seven three-pointers, while Jonathan Kuminga added 16 points with eight rebounds.
Luka Doncic stole the show for the Los Angeles Lakers, scoring 32 of his 49 points in the first half to propel the team to a 128-110 victory over Minnesota. Austin Reaves also made contributions with 25 points and 11 assists, while Rui Hachimura added 23 points. The Timberwolves saw Anthony Edwards score 31 points and Julius Randle contribute 26 points with nine rebounds, but the Lakers outperformed them with a shooting percentage of 59.2% against Minnesota's 46.6%.
Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Bucks edged past the Toronto Raptors 122-116, thanks to Giannis Antetokounmpo's impressive 31 points and 20 rebounds. Gary Trent Jr. added 20 points, and Cole Anthony scored 23 points off the bench, while Toronto's offense featured Brandon Ingram with 29 points, RJ Barrett with 20, and Immanuel Quickley with 19.
Trae Young played a pivotal role in Atlanta's 111-107 comeback victory against Orlando with 25 points and crucial go-ahead free throws late in the game. Nickeil Alexander-Walker helped with 19 points and Onyeka Okongwu contributed 17. Orlando's Franz Wagner led his team with 27 points while both Tristan da Silva and Desmond Bane totaled 15 points each.
Cade Cunningham sealed a 115-111 victory for Detroit over Houston with two late free throws, finishing with 21 points, seven rebounds, and nine assists. Paul Reed backed him with 13 points, while Ausar Thompson and Duncan Robinson achieved 19 and 17 points respectively. For Houston, Kevin Durant was remarkable with 37 points.
The New York Knicks triumphed over Boston 105-95, showcasing an outstanding second quarter performance of 42-14. Karl-Anthony Towns led the game with 26 points and 13 rebounds, while Jalen Brunson topped the scoring sheets with 31 points. Jaylen Brown led the Celtics with 23 points and Sam Hauser contributed 18.
Donovan Mitchell scored 35 points, enabling the Cavaliers to stave off a Nets late comeback, securing a 131-124 victory. Jarrett Allen and Sam Merrill each scored 22 points for Cleveland. For the Nets, Cam Thomas scored 33 points, and Michael Porter Jr. added 31.
Victor Wembanyama shone for San Antonio, scoring 29 points, grabbing 11 rebounds, and blocking nine shots, leading his team to a thrilling 120-116 overtime victory against New Orleans. Devin Vassell contributed 23 points, while Luke Kornet recorded 14 points and 12 rebounds. Zion Williamson led the Pelicans with 27 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists.
Domantas Sabonis delivered a game-winning shot with just 6.4 seconds left, leading Sacramento to a narrow 105-104 victory at home. Zach LaVine topped the Bulls with 31 points, while Malik Monk added 20 points, and Dennis Schroder contributed 17. Lauri Markkanen stood out for Utah with 33 points, while Keyonte George registered 18 points and 10 assists, narrowly missing a last-second shot.
Kyshawn George established new career highs with 34 points and 11 rebounds to lead Washington to a 117-107 victory over Dallas. Though Anthony Davis scored 27 points and secured 13 rebounds for the Mavericks, it wasn’t enough. Tre Johnson came off the bench for 17 points.
James Harden was instrumental for the Clippers with 30 points, including 26 in the first half, steering the team to a commanding 129-102 win against Phoenix, where Kawhi Leonard added 27 points and Devin Booker was limited to just 18 points by the Clippers’ defense.
