UK-based consumer electronics brand Nothing has added a new member to its popular Phone 3a lineup — the Nothing Phone 3a Lite. The smartphone joins the existing Phone 3a and Phone 3a Pro models, offering a more affordable yet capable option for users. While it’s already available in select global markets, the company is yet to announce its India launch date.
The Phone 3a Lite sports a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution (1080x2392 pixels), 120Hz refresh rate, and an impressive 3,000 nits HDR peak brightness. Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro processor — the same chipset found in the CMF Phone 2 Pro — paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
On the camera front, the phone offers a triple rear setup with a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera, while the front features a 16MP selfie shooter. Backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging, the device promises reliable day-long performance. It also carries an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.
Design remains a standout element for Nothing, and the Phone 3a Lite continues that tradition with a unique twist. It introduces a new single Glyph Light at the back — replacing the multi-LED strips seen on previous models. Despite the minimalist design, it retains signature Glyph functionalities such as call alerts, notifications, and camera countdowns, adding a touch of flair to everyday use.
Running on Android 15-based NothingOS 3.5, the device brings several AI-powered features. The highlight is Essential Space, accessible through the new Essential Key, which helps users manage notes and media using natural language search. Other enhancements include Smart Drawer for automatic app organization, Private Space for data protection, and App Locker for added privacy.
Nothing has confirmed that the Phone 3a Lite will receive three years of Android updates and six years of security patches, with the Android 16-based NothingOS 4 update set for early 2026.
With its signature minimalist design, practical AI features, and competitive pricing, the Nothing Phone 3a Lite continues the brand’s push to redefine mid-range smartphones — stylish, smart, and straightforward.
