Congress Leader Priyanka Gandhi’s Son Raihan Vadra Engaged to Aviva

Congress Leader Priyanka Gandhi’s Son Raihan Vadra Engaged to Aviva

Post by : Meena Ariff

Raihan Vadra, son of prominent Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi and businessman Robert Vadra, is officially engaged to Aviva Baig, a talented photographer based in Delhi. The couple, who have shared a relationship for the past seven years, belong to families that are closely connected, further strengthening their bond.

Aviva Baig, an accomplished visual artist herself, has a strong educational background in media and communication. She completed her schooling at the prestigious Modern School in Delhi before pursuing a degree in Journalism and Communication at OP Jindal Global University. Her passion for photography led her to co-found Atelier 11, a well-known photographic studio and production company that collaborates with various agencies, brands, and clients across India. Aviva’s work primarily focuses on capturing everyday life in a unique and compelling way, earning her recognition at several exhibitions. Notably, her work was part of the ‘You Cannot Miss This’ exhibition with Method Gallery in 2023, as well as the India Art Fair’s Young Collector Programme.

In addition to her photography, Aviva has gained diverse experience working in the media and communication industry. She has taken on roles such as a freelance producer at PlusRymn, junior project manager at PROPAGANDA, marketing intern at Art Chain India, and editor-in-chief of The Journal at I-Parliament. She has also completed internships with prestigious magazines like Verve Magazine India and Creative IMAGE Magazine, sharpening her editorial and communication skills.

Raihan Vadra, similarly, has been passionate about photography since his childhood. His photographic work covers a broad spectrum including wildlife, street, and commercial photography. A pivotal moment in his artistic journey was an eye injury he suffered during a school cricket match, which led him to explore black-and-white photography, utilizing shadows and contrasts to create depth and emotion in his images. Raihan’s first solo exhibition was held at Bikaner House in New Delhi, marking an important milestone in his career as a visual artist.

Encouraged and supported by his mother, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Raihan continues to develop his photographic craft. He also draws inspiration from his grandfather, the late Rajiv Gandhi, former Prime Minister of India, who was known to have an interest in photography.

The engagement of Raihan Vadra and Aviva Baig marks a beautiful new chapter for the young couple as they prepare to embark on their journey together. Both individuals are celebrated for their artistic talents and commitment to their craft, and their union brings together two creative spirits from families with deep cultural and social roots.
