His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, recently toured the seasonal art exhibitions at Louvre Abu Dhabi. These exhibitions are presented in collaboration with esteemed global partners, including France Muséums, Musée du Louvre (Paris), and Musée National Picasso-Paris.
During the event, Sheikh Khaled examined a variety of artworks that illuminate significant historic and civilizational achievements. The exhibitions display the progression of applied arts, architecture, ornamentation, and calligraphy, alongside the evolution of modern art and artistic movements throughout time.
Showcasing pieces loaned from various local, regional, and international cultural institutions, the exhibitions reflect the rich diversity of artistic directions and creative expressions worldwide. Their goal is to enhance the cultural fabric of the region while highlighting the dialogue between global artistic trends and the unique heritage of the Arab world.
These seasonal exhibitions embody Louvre Abu Dhabi's mission to act as a global hub for cultural dialogue, fostering civilizational interchange, openness, and coexistence through the medium of art.
