Thailand PM Leads Luang Pu Thuad Amulet Consecration Rite

Post by : Shakul

Thailand Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul presided over the Buddhist consecration ceremony of the Luang Pu Thuad "Disease-Free and Safe" amulet at Wat Huay Mongkol in Hua Hin. The ceremony was attended by senior monks, government officials and members of the public who gathered to witness the religious event.

Funds to Support Public Healthcare

The commemorative amulet has been created to raise funds for the Foundation for the Development of Health Centers. Money collected from the sale of the amulets will be used to improve 92 royal-sponsored health centers across Thailand and strengthen the foundation's public health initiatives.

Focus on Better Medical Services

Officials said the project aims to modernize Thailand's primary healthcare system by introducing digital technology, improving medical equipment and expanding healthcare services. The initiative is expected to enhance healthcare access, especially for people living in rural and remote communities.

Traditional Ritual Held at Wat Huay Mongkol

During the ceremony, Prime Minister Anutin paid respects to Luang Pu Thuad and participated in traditional Buddhist rituals, including offering alms, lighting ceremonial candles and receiving blessings from senior monks. The event highlighted the close connection between religious traditions and community welfare in Thailand.

Foundation Supports Rural Communities

The Foundation for the Promotion of Health Service continues to develop model health centers throughout the country. These facilities focus on improving healthcare quality, medical infrastructure and public services while supporting local communities with accessible medical care.

Government Reaffirms Healthcare Commitment

Thai authorities said strengthening primary healthcare remains a national priority. The government believes investments in technology, healthcare facilities and community-based medical services will help ensure quality healthcare for all citizens in the years ahead.
