Post by : Shakul

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum attended the graduation ceremony for the 2025 UAE Government Leaders Programme, held at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi. This event underscores the UAE's dedication to cultivating leadership that is equipped for the challenges of global transformation and technological advancement.

Numerous senior figures were present, including Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Their attendance highlighted the commitment of UAE leadership to enhancing administrative excellence and grooming national capabilities for the future.

The 2025 cohort featured participants from a variety of sectors, including federal and local government entities, as well as the private sector. This comprehensive programme united department heads, project leaders, specialists, and division directors, who underwent a rigorous year-long training in leadership development.

Participants engaged in advanced executive workshops conducted in collaboration with leading UAE institutions and global organizations. The curriculum also offered mentorship from international experts, hands-on leadership training, and global study tours aimed at familiarizing attendees with innovative governance practices.

A notable aspect of the programme was a knowledge tour to Vietnam, where attendees examined effective governance strategies and tackled intricate public administration issues. They collaborated on projects promoting economic growth, industrial development, and environmental sustainability.

The 2025 UAE Government Leaders Programme is heavily oriented toward equipping leaders with the skills to navigate swiftly evolving global scenarios. Participants were trained in strategic foresight, data-driven policymaking, and management of interlinked national initiatives to enhance governmental efficiency.

Since its inception in 2008, the UAE Government Leaders Programme has emerged as one of the nation’s key initiatives for cultivating leadership talent. Over 770 leaders have successfully graduated, playing vital roles in fostering innovation, policy advancements, and institutional growth within the UAE.

The graduation ceremony reaffirmed the UAE’s ongoing pledge to nurture human capital and instill a culture of leadership driven by innovation, sustainability, and global competitiveness.
