A passenger bus plunged into the Padma River at the Daulatdia ferry terminal in Rajbari district, Bangladesh, resulting in at least 23 deaths and several injuries. The bus was traveling from Rajbari to Dhaka when it fell off a ferry around 5 p.m., leaving many passengers trapped underwater.
Rescue teams have recovered several bodies and continue searching for those still missing. Authorities are investigating the incident and working to assist victims and their families during the ongoing rescue operation.
