Anwar Launches Two-Day Johor Election Campaign Tour

Post by : Shakul

Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman and Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has begun a two-day campaign tour across Johor, where he is scheduled to participate in 15 programmes in support of the coalition's candidates contesting the 16th Johor State Election. The campaign comes just days before voters head to the polls on July 11.

Anwar also invited Johor residents to attend the campaign events, encouraging supporters to join the coalition's outreach activities throughout the weekend.

Packed Schedule Across Johor

The Prime Minister's itinerary includes youth engagement programmes, meetings with community leaders, cultural events, public dialogues, grassroots gatherings, and election rallies across several constituencies including Kulai, Tampoi, Kempas, Layang-Layang, Senggarang, Semerah, Bukit Naning, Pemanis, Gambir, and Serom.

The campaign is designed to strengthen voter engagement while mobilizing Pakatan Harapan's election machinery during the final week before polling day.

Focus on Grassroots Engagement

During the campaign, Anwar is expected to meet young voters, community representatives, local volunteers, and party workers. He has urged candidates to connect directly with the people and focus on serving the public rather than simply seeking votes during the election campaign.

Party leaders believe direct engagement with voters remains an important part of communicating policy priorities and strengthening public confidence ahead of polling day.
