Dubai Chambers has officially opened registration for the second cycle of the reimagined Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award, the emirate’s premier recognition for corporate excellence. The award celebrates companies that deliver outstanding performance, embrace innovation, and drive sustainable growth, reinforcing Dubai’s reputation as a hub for resilient and competitive businesses.
The announcement came during the ‘Excellence Reimagined Forum’ at Dubai Chambers’ headquarters, which drew over 100 business leaders to discuss emerging trends and modern standards in organisational excellence. The forum offered insights into operations, human capital management, technological innovation, and financial governance, with the aim of helping companies achieve long-term sustainable growth.
Industry leaders shared forward-looking strategies and highlighted best practices for boosting competitiveness and improving performance across sectors. Participants also explored benchmarking models and global frameworks in leadership, operational management, and corporate culture.
The award recognises businesses across four main categories: the Outstanding Business Award, the Family Business Award, the Global Expansion Award, and the Digital Innovation Award. Each category aligns with Dubai Chambers’ strategic objectives and is sponsored by the respective specialised chambers.
The evaluation framework is designed to encourage continuous improvement and measures tangible business outcomes, including leadership, strategy, workforce management, ESG initiatives, digital transformation, and financial performance. All participants receive a detailed report assessing their submissions, while winners have the opportunity to share success stories and best practices across the business community.
Since its launch in 2005 under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the award has recognised organisations that contribute to Dubai’s sustainable economic development. The 2023 relaunch of the award brought major enhancements to its framework and evaluation methods, aligning it with the vision outlined in the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33).
The award is open to all companies in Dubai, as well as international firms with regional headquarters in the emirate, across all industries, highlighting the city’s commitment to fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and resilience.
