Dharmendra Released from Hospital as Family Confirms His Recovery

Dharmendra Released from Hospital as Family Confirms His Recovery

Post by : Rameen Ariff

Bollywood superstar Dharmendra has been officially discharged from Breach Candy Hospital, as shared by his family on Wednesday. The 89-year-old star, who has faced medical challenges recently, is now recuperating at home with the support of medical professionals.

His family conveyed their heartfelt thanks to fans for their ongoing love and prayers: “We are grateful for everyone’s kindness, prayers, and positive thoughts for his health and longevity. We request that you respect his privacy as he cherishes your support.”

This news follows a series of unfounded death rumors that circulated online, alarming his devotees. The family appealed for responsible journalism and sensitivity regarding the actor’s condition.

Hema Malini, Dharmendra’s long-time co-star and wife, expressed her concerns on social media, stating, “It’s unacceptable! How can credible outlets spread such falsehoods about a person recuperating? This is deeply disrespectful and irresponsible. We urge everyone to respect our family’s need for privacy.”

Medical professionals have advised Dharmendra to rest, follow a monitored diet, and attend regular check-ups to stabilize his health. Fans are visibly relieved and continue to offer messages of support for the iconic actor’s recovery.

Known as the “He-Man” of Indian cinema, Dharmendra boasts an illustrious career over decades, with unforgettable roles in classics like Sholay, Chupke Chupke, and Anupama. His lasting appeal has made him one of the most cherished figures in Bollywood.

The family and medical team respectfully request that the media and fans honor the actor’s privacy as he focuses on his recovery at home.
