Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company PJSC (du) has reported another strong quarter, marking solid revenue and profit growth as its customer base reached new highs across all segments.
The telecom operator’s revenue for the third quarter of 2025 climbed 7.9% year-on-year to AED3.87 billion, fuelled by sustained demand in mobile, fixed-line, and ICT services. The company’s EBITDA stood at AED1.85 billion, representing a healthy 47.8% margin, while net profit on a normalised basis surged 25.8% to AED732 million — reflecting continued efficiency and cost discipline.
du’s customer base expanded significantly, with mobile subscribers rising 10.3% to 9.2 million, supported by steady growth across both prepaid and postpaid segments. The fixed-line business also showed momentum, with customers up 9.7% to 718,000, driven by higher adoption of home wireless and fibre broadband services across the UAE.
Operating free cash flow grew 11% to AED1.36 billion, highlighting the company’s strong cash generation capacity. Capital expenditure during the quarter reached AED492 million, maintaining a 12.7% intensity ratio as du continued to invest in network modernisation and digital infrastructure.
The company also noted that the successful completion of its secondary public offering earlier this year increased its free float to 27.7%, improving market liquidity and broadening its investor base — a move that underscores growing confidence in du’s long-term vision.
With consistent performance over the past three quarters, du reaffirmed its full-year guidance for 2025, expecting annual revenue growth between 6% and 8% and maintaining an EBITDA margin range of 45% to 47%.
Looking ahead, du plans to build further on its strong core connectivity business while expanding in next-generation areas such as artificial intelligence and digital innovation. Recent initiatives like the launch of the AI Park ecosystem and the AI supercluster mark key steps in strengthening the UAE’s digital and AI leadership ambitions.
