Emmanuelle “Emman” Atienza, a vibrant 19-year-old creator known for her fervor in fashion, art, and mental health advocacy, has sadly passed away, as confirmed by her family on Friday, October 24.
The daughter of renowned television host Kim Atienza and Philippine Eagle Foundation president Felicia Hung-Atienza, Emman was also the granddaughter of former Manila mayor Lito Atienza.
Felicia shared a heartfelt note expressing the family’s sorrow regarding Emman’s “unexpected passing,” highlighting that her daughter brought “joy, laughter, and love” to those around her.
“Emman always had a unique ability to make people feel valued and understood,” Felicia remarked. “Her genuine approach to discussing mental health has encouraged many to feel less isolated.”
Despite her fame, Emman encountered online negativity, including backlash related to a viral video from the previous year that depicted a restaurant bill exceeding ₱130,000. She later clarified this as a humorous moment during a friend’s birthday celebration.
Felicia concluded her message, urging everyone to remember Emman by embodying compassion, bravery, and kindness in everyday interactions.
