Ferrari Debuts F76: A Digital-Only Hypercar NFT Honouring Racing Legacy

Ferrari Debuts F76: A Digital-Only Hypercar NFT Honouring Racing Legacy

Post by : Badri Ariffin

Ferrari has expanded into the digital arena with the announcement of the F76, a hypercar conceived exclusively as an NFT. The release signals the marque's first vehicle that exists solely in the virtual domain, reflecting a focus on design innovation, technology and its motorsport roots.

Coming on the heels of Ferrari's third straight win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the 499P, the F76 is not destined for physical production or road use. Instead, the model is presented as a limited digital collectible reserved for members of Ferrari's Hyperclub.

Chief designer Flavio Manzoni led the F76 project, producing a look that fuses Ferrari's classic proportions with cyberpunk-inspired flourishes. The car adopts an unconventional double-fuselage configuration that places driver and passenger in separate cockpits, turning the bodywork into an active lifting surface to increase ground-effect efficiency. Sharp vertical cuts along the side fenders, echoing cues from the conceptual F80, reinforce its aggressive stance.

The twin cockpits are linked by drive-by-wire systems, allowing occupants to share synchronous driving inputs and sensations. Ferrari applied generative design techniques to refine aerodynamic performance and structural details, while preserving the marque’s distinctive Maranello design language.

Named to mark 76 years since Ferrari's first Le Mans victory in 1949—achieved by Luigi Chinetti and Lord Selsdon—the F76 is presented as both a tribute and a forward-looking experience. By offering this virtual creation, Ferrari aims to connect collectors and fans directly with its championship heritage while embracing next-generation digital innovation.
