In response to Ismail Darbar's recent comments questioning Gauahar Khan's decision to pursue her career after marriage and motherhood, Gauahar took to Instagram to express her heartfelt gratitude towards her husband, Zaid Darbar. In her emotional message, she thanked him for providing "calm and assurance" throughout her hectic professional life, commending his role as both a husband and father.

She shared a collection of photos and videos from their travels, family gatherings, and intimate moments at home, celebrating their bond with Zaid. "A walk in the park, a walk on the beach, a walk through the mountains, everything I wished for, I get to experience this beautiful journey of life with my birthday boy, my Jaanu, @zaid_darbar. Alhamdulillah, that’s exactly what I have," she shared.

Gauahar expressed her appreciation for their two sons, Zehaan and Farwaan, acknowledging Zaid’s steadfast support as a partner and father. “Thank you for making my family your own, for being your genuine, loyal, and hardworking self. May Allah bless you at every stage of life. You possess the biggest heart, always thoughtful and caring to everyone around you,” she added.

This public acknowledgment follows Ismail Darbar’s remarks about Gauahar’s career, where he acknowledged her as a dedicated mother but voiced concerns about her ongoing professional pursuits. He stated, “I believe Gauahar is now the pride of our home, so I can't say she should quit working... That’s not my right, but if anyone should decide, it’s Zaid's.”

Gauahar Khan married Zaid Darbar in December 2020, and they welcomed their first son, Zehaan, in May 2023, followed by their second, Farwaan, on September 1, 2025. Her recent works feature roles in Lovely Lolla and Fauji 2, ensuring her continued presence in the entertainment scene.

Through this social media post, Gauahar not only showcased snippets of her family life but also gently reinforced her professional decisions, showcasing the balance she strives for between her career and her personal life.
