ICO Delegation Reviews Humanitarian Initiatives in Somaliland

ICO Delegation Reviews Humanitarian Initiatives in Somaliland

Post by : Maya Rahman

An official delegation from the International Charity Organisation (ICO), led by Secretary-General Dr. Khalid Abdulwahab Al Khaja, has arrived in Somaliland to evaluate various humanitarian initiatives aimed at supporting low-income families, orphans, and patients. This visit underscores the organization’s commitment to broaden its operations throughout Africa and enhance aid efforts for communities in dire need, striving to foster social stability and uplift the lives of the vulnerable.

Throughout the visit, the ICO team will conduct thorough field evaluations to grasp the true living conditions of affected families and discern their pressing needs. Dr. Al Khaja emphasized that these assessments are vital for pinpointing areas requiring prompt assistance, particularly for those grappling with severe health issues and lacking fundamental resources. Additionally, the organization plans to explore enhancements to existing programs while also considering new initiatives that may yield long-term benefits.

This mission serves as a testament to the ICO’s dedication to providing impactful humanitarian assistance and ensuring that aid effectively reaches those in need. By accurately analyzing community requirements, the organization aims to bolster the effectiveness of its charitable efforts, improve collaboration with local allies, and promote sustainable growth. The visit is anticipated to aid the ICO in crafting stronger support networks within communities in urgent need of social aid.
