In a significant step towards enhancing global healthcare partnerships, His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs, launched the UAE-Indonesia Hospital for Cardiac Diseases. The event, attended by His Excellency Prabowo Subianto, President of Indonesia, highlights the strengthening ties between the two countries.
This modern facility is part of the UAE Global Hospitals Programme, under the Zayed Humanitarian Legacy Initiative, and is the first among ten specialized hospitals slated to open worldwide. It integrates leading medical technologies with sustainable practices, aiming to redefine standards in patient care. Visitors will notice advanced cardiac treatment areas complemented by sustainable initiatives such as solar power usage, rainwater management, and environmentally friendly building materials.
The hospital adopts a comprehensive approach to healthcare, combining high-quality treatment with a commitment to environmental stewardship. Its design focuses on the comfort of patients, operational effectiveness, and overall community health, embodying the UAE’s vision for humanitarian engagement globally.
This inauguration reinforces the UAE’s dedication to cooperative international healthcare efforts, offering specialized cardiac services while advocating for sustainable and socially responsible medical facilities.
