Lava Shark 2 4G Debuts in India at Rs 6,999 with 6.75-inch 120Hz Screen

Post by : Badri Ariffin

Indian smartphone maker Lava has introduced the budget-friendly Shark 2 4G in India, carrying a price tag of Rs 6,999. The handset upgrades to a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering smoother on-screen motion compared with its predecessor.

The Shark 2 4G runs on an octa-core UNISOC T7250 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. Users can extend storage via a microSD card to accommodate more apps and media.

Camera and Display

For imaging, the device offers a 50MP AI-assisted rear camera intended to produce detailed photos across varied lighting. A notch on the front houses an 8MP selfie camera for video calls and portraits.

Battery and Durability

The phone packs a 5000mAh battery and supports 18W wired charging over USB Type-C, while a 10W charger is included in the retail box. An IP54 rating provides protection against dust and light splashes, bolstering everyday durability.

Other Features

Additional specifications include dual 4G SIM capability, Auto Call Recording, and Android 15 with one OS upgrade and two years of security updates guaranteed. The Shark 2 4G will ship in Eclipse Grey and Aurora Gold and is expected at select retailers later this month.

With its competitive price, sizable battery and a strong camera specification, the Lava Shark 2 4G aims to be a practical option for budget-conscious buyers seeking reliable performance and durability.
