Manika Vishwakarma’s Red Gown Commands Attention at Miss Universe 2025 in Bangkok

Manika Vishwakarma’s Red Gown Commands Attention at Miss Universe 2025 in Bangkok

Post by : Saif Rahman

India’s Miss Universe 2025 delegate, Manika Vishwakarma, drew widespread attention at the Miss Universe ceremony held in Bangkok, Thailand, on November 4. The event featured contestants from over 130 countries and unfolded amid a range of controversies; nevertheless, Manika’s appearance became a focal point for many viewers and supporters back home.

Stepping onto the stage in a striking ruby-red mermaid gown by Pristine Luxury, she immediately captured the spotlight. The dress showcased a plunging neckline embellished with sparkling stones and beadwork. Its form-fitting mermaid silhouette was densely adorned with crystals that caught the stage lights, while a flowing tulle train added an air of drama and regality.

Details included off-shoulder cap sleeves finished with dangling crystal fringes that swayed as she moved, lending motion and sophistication to the ensemble. The overall design communicated both elegance and bold theatricality, well suited to an international pageant setting.

Accessories were kept minimal: a pair of silver earrings complemented the gown, and she wore her contestant crown. Her makeup was polished and cinematic—soft smoky eyes, defined lashes, highlighted cheekbones and a glossy red lip that echoed the dress. Her hair was styled smoothly and simply, allowing the gown to remain the visual centerpiece.

Although the ceremony was marked by disputes involving organisers and participants, Manika’s assured stage presence helped redirect attention to the competition itself. Viewers praised her poise and sartorial choice, with many admiring posts and supportive comments appearing on social media from both Indian and international fans.

Her appearance underlined how considered fashion choices can communicate personality and self-assurance on a global stage. Manika represented India with composure and dignity, making a strong visual impression during a night of high visibility.

For many spectators, she emerged as one of the most memorable figures of the evening, demonstrating how confidence and style can stand out even amid controversy.

The moment also served as a reminder that graceful self-expression can shift narratives during tense events, offering a positive focal point for audiences worldwide.
