First Look of Fauzi Unveiled on Prabhas’ 46th Birthday

First Look of Fauzi Unveiled on Prabhas’ 46th Birthday

Post by : Meena Ariff

On the occasion of Prabhas’ 46th birthday, the production team of his eagerly awaited film Fauzi unveiled the first official glimpse of this period drama. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the teaser poster released on October 23 instantly drew attention.

The poster showcases a striking close-up of Prabhas, accompanied by visuals of arms and the British-era flag, signaling a pre-Independence storyline infused with intense action and conflict.

Overview of Fauzi

In Fauzi, Prabhas embodies a courageous soldier or revolutionary navigating the contentious landscape of 1940s British India. Esteemed actors Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, and Jaya Prada take on significant supporting roles, while newcomer Imanvi stars as the female lead. The musical score is crafted by Vishal Chandrasekhar, featuring contributions from acclaimed cinematographer Sudeep Chatterjee and editor Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao for elevated production values.

Filming took place in Madurai and other expansive settings, showcasing intricate sets and historically authentic design, as it aims to weave together themes of warfare, valor, and national pride into an ambitious action-drama. While the exact release date remains unconfirmed, the film is anticipated to hit theatres in 2026, potentially around Independence Day.

Recent Endeavors of Prabhas

Prabhas was last featured in Nag Ashwin's Kalki 2898 AD and had a special appearance in Vishnu Manchu's Kannappa, featuring stars like Akshay Kumar, Mohan Lal, and Kajal Aggarwal.

He is set to appear in Baahubali: The Epic, a remastered version of the celebrated Baahubali saga (2015, 2017), which includes enhanced visuals, improved sound design, and multiple new sequences, screening on October 31. Following this, Prabhas’ Raja Saab is slated for release on January 9 next year.
