UAE and Trinidad & Tobago Discuss Enhanced Cooperation

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, hosted Sean S.M. Sobers, the Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs of Trinidad and Tobago, today in Abu Dhabi. The meeting aimed to deepen the amicable relations between the two nations and explore avenues for expanded cooperation across several vital sectors.

During their discussion, Sheikh Abdullah underscored the strong bonds shared by the UAE and Trinidad and Tobago, emphasizing the need to advance these relations further. Both parties affirmed their commitment to bolstering bilateral cooperation in diverse fields. This partnership is envisioned to support mutual ambitions, focusing on sustainable economic growth and comprehensive development for both countries.

Topics during the meeting included current regional and global affairs. Sheikh Abdullah and Minister Sobers shared perspectives on various mutual interests, demonstrating their readiness to tackle global and regional challenges collaboratively. Present at the meeting were Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, the Minister of State, along with Omar Shehadeh, the UAE Envoy to the Caribbean and Pacific States.
