His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, spearheaded a series of congratulatory messages directed at King Mohammed VI of Morocco following the Moroccan national team's stunning victory in the FIFA Arab Cup 2025, held in Qatar on Thursday. This triumph signals a significant achievement for Moroccan football, concluding the tournament with an eagerly awaited final against Jordan.
In a post on X, Sheikh Mohamed lauded the Moroccan team for their remarkable performance and also commended the Jordanian squad for their unwavering determination during each match of the tournament. He remarked that both teams exhibited “excellence and pride,” epitomizing the wealth of talent and sporting spirit within the region.
The President went on to acknowledge Qatar’s role in hosting the tournament successfully, praising its organizational capabilities that allowed for a remarkable Arab Cup and a lively atmosphere for both teams and their supporters.
Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, also expressed his congratulations, describing the final match as “distinguished,” a testament to the high level of competition and energy witnessed on the field.
In addition, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Chairman of the Presidential Court, acknowledged Morocco’s remarkable achievement while also recognizing Jordan’s commendable journey to the final. He highlighted the “honourable performance and competitive spirit” displayed by both finalists.
Celebrating Morocco's championship, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence, lauded their triumph and expressed gratitude to Qatar for its exceptional organizational standards throughout the competition.
Morocco’s victory further solidifies its growing reputation in regional football, while the Jordanian team earned widespread respect for their relentless effort in reaching the final. The tournament wrapped up on a high note, showcasing unity and sportsmanship, as leaders and fans from across the Arab world celebrated the accomplishments of both teams and the hosts.
