Abu Dhabi – PureHealth has proudly celebrated the graduation of 146 UAE Nationals from its Emirati Development Center (EDC) Leaders Programme, reinforcing its long-term commitment to building a future-ready healthcare workforce.
The ceremony highlighted the largest cohort yet, reflecting PureHealth’s ongoing investment in developing Emirati leadership across the healthcare sector. With 317 employees having benefitted from the programme to date, the initiative is designed to nurture local talent, equipping participants with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to lead transformative healthcare initiatives.
Comprehensive Learning for Future Leaders
The EDC programme provides a structured and immersive development journey. Each participant follows an Individual Development Plan tailored to align personal growth with organizational objectives. The curriculum combines mentorship, real-world projects, cross-functional training, and focused learning in leadership, business strategy, innovation, and research.
This approach ensures participants not only gain technical and managerial skills but also develop the strategic mindset required to drive change in a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.
Empowering UAE Nationals in Healthcare
PureHealth’s efforts align with the UAE’s vision to build a diversified and knowledge-driven economy. By investing in national talent, the EDC programme prepares Emiratis to take on meaningful leadership roles, contribute to innovative healthcare solutions, and strengthen the country’s position as a global healthcare hub.
The graduation of this cohort underscores the UAE’s growing focus on empowering local talent to lead the next generation of healthcare initiatives, with graduates expected to play a pivotal role in shaping sustainable, high-quality healthcare services.
As the healthcare sector continues to evolve, initiatives like PureHealth’s EDC programme are crucial for creating a pool of skilled and visionary leaders. By combining practical experience with strategic learning, the programme ensures that UAE Nationals are ready to meet future challenges and advance the nation’s healthcare ambitions.
