Weekend Weather Outlook for Qatar: Rain, Fog, and Cloud Coverage

Weekend Weather Outlook for Qatar: Rain, Fog, and Cloud Coverage

Post by : Maya Rahman

This weekend, from December 4 to December 6, 2025, the Qatar Meteorology Department has provided a detailed weather forecast for residents and travelers. Anticipate a range of weather conditions with temperatures fluctuating between 20°C and 28°C nationwide.

Thursday, December 4, will see partly cloudy skies with minimal rain chances during the day. However, as night falls, visibility could diminish due to hazy or misty conditions, prompting caution for those driving after dark.

On Friday, December 5, expect more active weather, especially in the Eastern regions. Offshore areas might experience thundery rain accompanied by strong winds, posing potential risks for maritime activities. Inshore Eastern locales will likely remain partly cloudy, yet early mornings and late evenings may bring misty conditions, urging drivers to stay alert.

Saturday, December 6, forecasts an initial struggle with visibility, particularly in the morning. As the day unfolds, most parts of Qatar will see partly cloudy skies, with lingering fog in low-lying areas. The evening will retain partly cloudy conditions, offering a mix of mild and cool weather suitable for evening outings.

This weekend's weather report underscores the necessity of staying updated, particularly due to strong winds and thundery showers that could interfere with outdoor plans, especially along the coast. Mariners, anglers, and all maritime enthusiasts are advised to remain vigilant and adhere to safety regulations. Additionally, motorists should approach foggy and misty areas with care to mitigate accident risks due to reduced visibility.

A blend of partly cloudy skies, fog, mist, and sporadic rain will characterize the weekend. Nonetheless, daytime temperatures will be mild, facilitating comfortable conditions for daily routines. As for evenings and nights, temperatures will cool slightly, contributing to a refreshing environment throughout Qatar.

The Qatar Meteorology Department is committed to providing ongoing updates on weather forecasts to promote public safety and preparedness. Citizens and visitors are encouraged to check the official updates frequently, especially when planning outdoor or maritime excursions, to minimize inconveniences caused by unexpected weather shifts.
