Srinagar Madrasa Fire | 200 Students Rescued in Hyderpora | Massive Blaze Sparks Panic in Kashmir

Post by : Shakul

A massive fire broke out at a madrasa in Srinagar’s Hyderpora area, causing widespread panic among residents and students in the region. The sudden blaze quickly spread through the building, raising fears of a major tragedy.

Authorities confirmed that nearly 200 students were safely evacuated from the premises. Swift action by staff members and emergency responders ensured that all students were rescued without any loss of life.

Firefighters rushed to the scene with multiple fire tenders and launched an intensive operation to control the flames. After prolonged efforts, the fire was eventually brought under control.

Initial reports indicate that the fire spread rapidly across the structure, resulting in heavy damage to the madrasa building. Thick smoke and flames made the rescue operation more challenging.

During the operation, a few individuals, including a firefighter, sustained injuries. They were immediately provided medical treatment and are reported to be in stable condition.

The exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and authorities have initiated an investigation to identify the source of the blaze. Safety inspections in nearby institutions are also expected.

Officials have praised the quick response of emergency teams, noting that their timely intervention helped prevent a potentially devastating incident.
