Kritika Kamra Discusses Her Evolution in OTT and Anticipation for Matka King

Kritika Kamra Discusses Her Evolution in OTT and Anticipation for Matka King

Post by : Meena Ariff

Actor Kritika Kamra has firmly established herself in the realm of digital entertainment, featuring in projects such as Hush Hush, Bambai Meri Jaan, and Gyaarah Gyaarah. Although she finds her journey quite fulfilling, she admits that the gaps between her projects can sometimes trigger anxiety.

In discussing her latest endeavor, Kritika turned her attention to her show Saare Jahan Se Accha, which continues to garner interest even months post-premiere. “The waiting periods can be challenging for actors, but I was fortunate that Saare Jahan Se Accha saw steady viewership. It built momentum gradually,” she remarked.

She further emphasized, “Even after two months, we’re receiving positive feedback, which is encouraging. It means people have not only watched it but also recommended it, resulting in a larger viewership. That’s what we strive for as actors.”

Kritika is now looking forward to the debut of her upcoming web show, Matka King, alongside Vijay Varma. While specifics on the release date are still pending, she noted that these grand projects often come with extended timelines. “You want your work to resonate with the audience, especially after a long wait. Matka King has been a labor of love, but with ambitious projects, patience is key,” she stated.

Sharing how she copes with downtime, the actor mentioned, “I keep myself engaged and make sure I’m not entirely focused on one project. When you finally see audiences embracing your work, it validates the wait,” she shared.

Reflecting on her growth in the OTT landscape, Kritika remarked, “My journey has been a gradual one, which suits me just fine. I’m committed for the long term; making informed choices matters more to me than immediate recognition.”

As Kritika Kamra continues to shine in every role she takes on, her diligent approach toward impactful storytelling is evident. With excitement building for Matka King, her consistent advancement in the OTT industry serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of patience and perseverance in achieving one's goals.
