Police in Pahang are searching for three men who allegedly fled the scene after a deadly road accident in Bentong, with investigators now looking into a possible connection between the suspects and a vehicle theft case. The incident took place on Jalan Mempaga-Sertik in Bentong on Monday and involved three vehicles. A motorcyclist was killed in the collision, prompting police to launch an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the Bentong crash. Acting Pahang police chief Azry Akmar Ayob said the three men believed to have fled the accident scene had already been identified. The suspects are reportedly in their 20s and 30s. Police are also investigating whether the men were connected to a separate vehicle theft case. Their suspected involvement in the case has added another dimension to the investigation as officers continue efforts to locate them.

Vehicle Rented To Suspects Seized For Investigation

According to police, the vehicle involved in the incident had been rented to the three suspects. The man who rented the vehicle to them has since been detained by authorities. Azry said the detained man, who is in his 30s, tested positive for drugs.
