On Wednesday, Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Chairperson of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, attended the 5th edition of Make it in The Emirates 2026 at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi.
This prominent industrial event is organized by ADNEC Group, in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, alongside various partners, under the theme "Advanced Industry. Emerging Stronger."
Sheikha Latifa commended the exhibition's impressive growth, emphasizing that it highlights the UAE's commitment to becoming a leading global hub for advanced manufacturing and innovative economic strategies.
She remarked that the exhibition aligns with the UAE leadership's aspirations to foster a sustainable economy through technology investments, human empowerment, and future-focused industries. The UAE is progressively establishing itself as an international hotbed for advanced manufacturing and inventive industrial solutions.
She also appreciated the strong showing from national companies, young entrepreneurs, and innovative talents at the event, noting the UAE's ambitious development system promoting idea conversion into successful ventures while supporting innovation, local manufacturing, and SMEs.
During her visit, Sheikha Latifa explored various exhibition segments, including The House of Industry, Al Ghadeer Emirati Craft, and the Ministry of Culture, among others.
She gained insights into the latest industrial innovations aimed at boosting local manufacturing, enhancing Emirati products' competitiveness, and nurturing national and youth talent across several industries.
Accompanied by Maryam Al Hammadi, Huda Al Hashimi, and Hala Badri, Sheikha Latifa witnessed the event considered the largest industrial gathering in the region, attracting professionals from the governmental and private sectors, investors, innovators, and industry specialists.
This year's exhibition features over 1,245 companies from 12 industrial sectors, introducing new procurement opportunities aimed at localizing 5,000 products in the UAE, with SMEs constituting 61% of the total participants.
